Curriculum
British Curriculum & Early Years Foundation Stage - We encompass the British Curriculum via The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with vital modifications that allows the curriculum to better suit our philosophy. It is a proven study that children during early years education learn better through a play-based approach as opposed to coerced academic dictation.
“A shared story between a child and a familiar, loved adult has a huge impact on children’s interest and motivation for reading later on,” says PACEY President, Penny Tassoni.
Literacy is being able to listen to and enjoy your favorite stories and songs. Showing an interest in print in both books and print in the environment and being able to tell a story through pictures. Beginning stages for writing starts with simple marks that have meaning to that child.
